We tried to hike down to the big town from the castle this morning and took a wrong turn. We ended up walking back up to the village and riding the bus. But, we did end up with lots of lovely views of the castle. Our apartment includes the double arched windows on the narrow side (second picture).
It was another two-cafe-day for us: one for lunch/wine, and one for gelato/espresso. Classes start tomorrow, so I suppose S and the Crofters will look busy. The rest of us will have to seek out new cafes.
