Workday

Every week, students (and faculty, depending on the kiddo's schedule) participate in a day's worth of work around the farm and vineyard.  They work all day in exchange for Brigitte's lunch and dinner, and I can tell you that they're very lucky to eat her cooking.  Work is anything from cleaning animal stalls, to moving rocks, to pruning vines, to gardening, to cleaning in the agricultural museum.

We usually send a representative from our household to work, but today we all three participated a little, binding and pruning vines in the vineyard.

At the end of each workday, the crew is rewarded with what the kiddo calls a little party in the courtyard before dinner.  He likes to hang out with the crofters whenever possible.
